Mint Limeade
Our Far Rockaway Educational Campus mint is thriving this summer. Students put it to work in a mint limeade, a simple, refreshing way to turn what’s growing on the farm into something worth sharing.
Ingredients (TFFJ Produce Highlighted 🌿)
- For a 64oz jar, you’ll want to use 8-10 limes
- 1 bunch of mint leaves 🌿
- Honey or sugar to taste
Directions
- Squeeze your lime juice into a bowl. Afterward, take a strainer and use it as you pour the lime juice into your jar. This way you don’t get any seeds in your limeade
- Fill your jar with water and place the mint leaves inside
- Add honey or sugar to taste
- Mix well and let the limeade sit for 2-3 minutes so that all the flavors are absorbed
- Serve cold or with ice
