This farm was part of the school’s focus on urban agriculture, health, and wellness, which included its Hope Cafe, where students and staff could purchase healthy breakfast and lunch options.
Now a TFFJ Legacy Site, BCMSA&T previously operated a student-run Fresh Food Box program. In 2019, BCMSA&T students established their own TFFJ Youth Staff, leading initiatives like transforming their annual bake sale fundraiser into a farm stand offering fresh produce.
