Connor Gorsira

Senior Farm Operations Manager

Connor Gorsira is the Senior Farm Operations Manager at Teens for Food Justice, where he has led the organization’s farm operations since 2021. He oversees TFFJ’s school-based hydroponic farms, directing crop production, food safety, integrated pest management, distribution, and operations to support the production of thousands of pounds of fresh produce each year for students and school communities.

Connor earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Florida before transitioning into controlled environment agriculture. Prior to joining Teens for Food Justice, he managed a 20,000-square-foot commercial hydroponic greenhouse in Brooklyn, specializing in the production of lettuce and herbs.

As a food enthusiast, Connor believes that hydroponic farming can help build healthier communities by making fresh food more accessible.
