Alex is a passionate foodie and wine connoisseur, and has enjoyed a successful and unique career as a driving force behind the development and international expansion of hospitality brands. Currently the COO of Gracious Hospitality in NYC, he’s responsible for steering business growth initiatives and growing profitability for the company’s Cote and COQODAQ restaurant operations. Prior to joining Gracious Hospitality, he served as CEO of Fuku and President of Momofuku where he was responsible for setting up the needed corporate systems and structures for continued business growth and profitability.
Prior to Momofuku, he served as President for Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group (BBHG) for more than 13 years. Alex holds a BSBA degree with honors from The Ohio State University and a MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in New York City with his wife, Elizabeth and their two children, Miguel and Alba.
